Brian Stacey - Instrumental Music

My Name is Mr. Stacey and I am a Music teacher/Band Director at Glendale.  I teach fourth through twelfth grade instrumental music and music Theory. I have three bands here at Glendale, a Jr.- Sr. High School Band, a Jazz Band and an Elementary Band. I have been at Glendale for twenty years. Prior to working at Glendale I graduated from Altoona Area High School and then PSU with a bachelors degree in Music education. Most recently I received my Masters Degree in Education and Principal Certification from Saint Francis University. I am Happily Married and have two wonderful Boys.

Kelsey Troxel - Band Front Advisor

I have been the Band Front Advisor and Volunteer Indoor Majorette Instructor at Glendale Jr/Sr. High School since 2005. My involvement in the Glendale Music Department dates back to 1997. As an alumna of GHS, I find being able to "give back" to a program that has provided me with so many cherished memories and unique opportunities to be a very rewarding experience. I obtained an Associates in Specialized Business degree from South Hills School of Business and Technology in 2007 and maintain a career in the independent pharmacy wholesale industry. Larry Putorek - Vocal/General Music

My name is Mr. Putorek, and I am the General/Vocal Music teacher at Glendale.  I teach general music from grades K-7, 4 elementary choirs, a middle school choir, and a high school choir.  i also conduct the P's Picks select ensemble, I am the Tri-M advisor, and I am the Fine Arts Department Chair.  I am starting my 6th year at Glendale, and can be reached by calling (814)-687-5035.
