Some of our students enjoyed a sunny Community-Based Instruction (CBI) trip to play mini golf! ☀️⛳️ CBI trips allow students to practice and apply the skills they’ve learned in the classroom in real-world settings, helping to build independence and confidence. These fun and meaningful opportunities were made possible through the generous support of our staff, funded by donations from the Viking Snack Shack and a special dress-down day. We cannot thank our amazing staff enough for making experiences like this possible! 💙💛 #VikingProud

We’re so excited to announce that our playground now has a Communication Board! ✨ This amazing addition will help all of our students communicate and connect with their friends while playing together. Success to Read This site offers several tips and activities for teaching your child how to read including auditory skills, alphabet sounds, phonics, and rhyme. ABC YA Grade level lessons incorporate areas such as math and language arts while introducing basic computer skills. We are accepting applications for an Athletic Trainer. Full-time, 12-month contracted position available; however, part-time availability considered. NATA certification and/or license by PA required. Some of our students recently enjoyed a Community-Based Instruction (CBI) trip to Porman's Potting Shed and Valewood Farms. During their visit to the greenhouse, students had the opportunity to tour the facility and plant a Black-Eyed Susan perennial to take home. Afterward, they enjoyed packed lunches generously provided by the Glendale Cafeteria and finished the day with a sweet treat, ice cream from Valewood Farms. It was a fun and educational experience for all!

Some of our students wrapped up the year with a sweet adventure to The Sweetest Place on Earth — Hersheypark! 🎢🍫 This fun-filled trip was the perfect way to cap off their STEM and roller coaster learning unit. Huge shoutout to Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton for chaperoning and helping the group close down the park!
