Some of our students recently enjoyed a Community-Based Instruction (CBI) trip to Porman's Potting Shed and Valewood Farms. During their visit to the greenhouse, students had the opportunity to tour the facility and plant a Black-Eyed Susan perennial to take home. Afterward, they enjoyed packed lunches generously provided by the Glendale Cafeteria and finished the day with a sweet treat, ice cream from Valewood Farms. It was a fun and educational experience for all!

Some of our students wrapped up the year with a sweet adventure to The Sweetest Place on Earth — Hersheypark! 🎢🍫 This fun-filled trip was the perfect way to cap off their STEM and roller coaster learning unit. Huge shoutout to Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton for chaperoning and helping the group close down the park!

Retirement Spotlight! Today, we proudly celebrated the retirement of four incredible members of the Glendale School District family.
