Congratulations to our Students of the Month. Mr. Hrubochak presented certficates to Carter Gallaher 12th Grade and Owen Luther 8th Grade. Both students will be recognized at the February School Board on February 17th.

The school-wide spelling bee was held on Monday. The top speller from each classroom, grades 4-8, were invited to attend. The participants were Christopher Nash, Sunny Twigg, Eli Kohn, River Bowman, Dylan Mackin, Wyatt Marble, Gracie Peacock, Ben Gates, and Reagan Hullihen. Our runner-up was Reagan Hullihen and first-place winner was Ben Gates! Ben will have the opportunity to advance to the regional spelling bee in just a few weeks. Congratulations!

Last evening Emma Gilbey and Bridget Lewis were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. Eligibility for this honoris determined by grades, attendance and overall performance within the program.

We are currently experiencing difficulties with our call system. There are no additional updates from Glendale at this time. High school students are dismissing at 12:30, elementary students at 1:15, elementary parent pick up is 12:45. There is no Vo-Tech and no after school activities.

The CTC students will not be attending vo-tech today due to the early dismissal
